Alexandra Malaspina
Alexandra’s yoga journey started back in 2014 when she tried her first Bikram yoga class shortly after graduating and starting her first full-time job. She became hooked on Bikram yoga for the physical, mental, and emotional benefits it provided.
As her love for this practice deepened, she explored other styles of yoga and received her first 200 hour RYT certification to teach vinyasa in 2015 (She received another 200 hour RYT to teach Bikram style yoga in 2019).
Her goal when starting the first training program was just to gain a deeper understanding of her own practice, but she started teaching immediately after the training. She’s been teaching vinyasa for 8 years now and still loves this practice in her bones. She loves putting classes together that are accessible, challenging, and mindful. She loves to continue learning as a student and is always grateful for the opportunity to share this practice with others as a teacher. Most of the time, it feels as though the yoga teaches itself.
Through sustained focus and meditation on our patterns, habits, and conditioning, we gain knowledge and understanding of our past
and how we can change the patterns that aren’t serving us to live more freely and fully.
